I have just returned from a a stay at the Apple Cottage on Bellingham
estate and have to say I was blown away by the hospitality, the view and atmosphere that welcomed us…..If I was to attend a wedding at the Castle the Bellingham Estate would be my top choice for accommodati on. The donkeys add such a warm hearted touch and were quite the novelty. Thank you so much for having us and we will certainly be back!
I recently stayed in Apple Cottage with 2 mates while at a wedding in Bellingham
Castle and honestly couldn’t fault it! The comfort (the beds especially !), decor, tranquil setting (which was welcome the next morning!) and appliances were all above what you would normally get in a rented property. It’s obvious to see that a lot of love and care has gone into the cottage. I would definitely recommend booking this as a place to stay especially if you are attending a wedding in the castle which is so close you can see it from the front door, I know I’ll be booking again for the next wedding I’ll be at! Thanks for the hospitalit y and for the chance to stay in such a beautiful place!!
We stayed in the Apple Cottage recently for a family wedding and cannot rate it highly enough. Firstly it was ideally located beside the castle (a stones throw away) but still gave us that sense of tranquilit
y the next morning when we dined al fresco for breakfast! The cottage is beautifull y decorated and the Meehans are incredible hosts. Whether you visit in the summer or winter this quaint little cottage is the perfect escape. We’ll be back real soon!
